Geospatial Health Collaborative

The Geospatial Health Collaborative (GHC) at Saint Louis University brings together CPHSJ faculty to study how our location impacts our health opportunities. The research we conduct focuses uses of geospatial science and nontraditional health data to answer complex health issues to identify predictors of poor health opportunities and outcomes.

Our SLU faculty use diverse data sources and study different communities, all to develop mechanisms to answer today and tomorrow's health challenges.

Examples of Data Leveraged

  • Environmental exposures: air, soil, and water pollutants; noise and light pollution
  • Community mobility
  • Social media patterns
